Well as time is passing a little faster than I have ever imagined, I haven't even noticed how much has happened over the past few weeks. Everything is going well and I'm just too happy to notice how it passes so fast.
Most of you might not know that I've changed families since the 4th of January. Tomorrow is my first month with Gilles and Clarisse Valleix (yep like aleix) :) It was, of course, quite a change. I live in a village called Romagnat which is a bit farther from the city proper. I love it here. It's peaceful, calm and snow is always present around.
More specifically, I love it here. Here in the exact place where I'm doing this blog in front of the TV after eating a cup of Häagen Dazs with Clarisse. It feels so close to home and the comfort home gives. Here, I am me. Natural, open and a bit louder than usual. I can fully express what I want to say as if I know the people I'm with for a long time. Everything seems to be in place, and I cannot be more thankful.
My room is here for sleeping. Only available to be occupied after 10pm because I prefer to spend my nights and afternoons hangin on the sofa, watching a movie, eating and talking with the awesome host sister (HEY THERE, MA FILLE!). It's that comfortable. My host sister is my sister, maybe not by blood but by something. I cannot even imagine leaving this place in 2 months. It will be too difficult. (Okay, let's not think about it for now just yet). I also believe that my French has improved in just a month. Because here, we've been laughing, talking, and telling jokes in my, well, third language *wink*. (Sounds surreal)
