Today is August 18, 2014. Mom just got home from the hospital and we started to fix my things, I have 3 pink bags of different sizes (so I can easily see them from a pool of luggage) and we had a really hard time choosing the clothes I don't have to bring (I hope I didn't overpack!) 😄

The 5 remaining days are coming too quickly than I imagined. I feel like I still had 20 days left yeasterday, and today I barely have a handful. Last weekend, three of my friends came by to see me before I leave on the 25th and another two came the week before that. (Thank God for such nice friends!)

I sent an email to my host dad last week about my arrival in Clermont-Ferrand. His response made me feel a lot better. I'm feeling a lot nervous and a lot excited as well. I heard there will be a Beginner's camp waiting for all inbounds in my district on the weekend of our arrival- I can't wait to meet all of them! I hope France has a lot in store for me! I can't wait to find out its beauty!

Thank You, Dear Lord, for this opportunity! I may be a little sad to leave the Philippines and my family for a couple of months, but I'm sure they're as excited as I am, and that I also have them and God at my back!

France, A bientôt!
